Registration

The Homestead Schools register on a school-year basis (late August through mid June) with optional summer and vacation camps. Families must complete a registration form on CampBrain, our school’s registration site.

If there is space available for your child(ren) to attend, you will be asked to pay a one time $100 registration fee as well as a $500 non-refundable, non-transferable, deposit to hold and secure your spot. The deposit will be applied to your first month’s tuition.

Enrollment Options

For children ages 6 weeks through 24 months:

  • Enrollment is full time, Monday – Friday 8:30-4:00, with the option of adding early (7:30-8:30) and/or extended care (4:00-5:30) as available.
  • Children must be 6 weeks old to begin attending. If space is available for your child to attend before they are 6 weeks, you will be required to pay the monthly tuition to hold that spot until your child is eligible to attend.

For children ages 2 years through 5 years:

  • There is a minimum enrollment of two half days (8:30-12:00).
  • You may select a schedule that best suits your needs with half days, full days (8:30-4:00), or a combination of both, with the option of adding early (7:30-8:30) and/or extended care (4:00-5:30) as available.

If your child is not yet born, please complete to the best of your ability and use “unknown” in the unknown fields. Re-enrollment for the following school year will be accepted for returning Homestead families beginning in January, following that registration is opened to our waitlist and then to the public.

Waitlist

Enrollment is subject to staffing and space availability. The staff to child ratio will stay at or below the state requirement and we are limited to the number of children we can enroll based on the size of classrooms and licensing regulations, because of this the classes fill and we maintain a waitlist. There is no financial commitment to add your child(ren) to the waitlist, we offer available space to families on the waitlist in the order that registrations are received. Space in classes depends upon the exact birthday of your child and if you are flexible about the schedule that is available. When adding your child to the waitlist you will be asked if you are flexible about the schedule that your child would attend and the school, if you answer that you are we would reach out if any space becomes available.

Tours

If space becomes available for your child(ren) to attend, we would be happy to schedule a tour at that time. We will also host an open house before registration opens for the following school year and if you add your child to the waitlist you will receive an invitation to attend.

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance may be available through the state’s Child Care Financial Assistance Program (CCFAP).  You can find information about CCFAP here.  There is an application and documentation that needs to be submitted to your local child care support agency.  If you have questions, the eligibility specialists at the support agencies are available to help.
